Caribbean Flotilla -
Exotic Locales and Great Friends

Vast blue skies, crystal clear waters and rolling green islands. Winds warm and steady. Quite moments mesmerized by the setting sun. Belly laughs and too many drinks with friends old and new. There are few places on earth that offer a better sailing experience than the Caribbean and the Virgin Islands.

Pinnacle-sponsored flotillas take place aboard magnificent, late-model 44 - 50 Foot Catamarans to explore these delightful waters. Each Cat accommodates three couples in private staterooms, and is staffed with an on-board professional Captain and Chef. Wonderful meals are provided aboard. You may take the helm or trim the sails as much or as little as you like.

Superb Fleet and Accommodations

All vessels are a late-model 44 - 50 foot catamarans with three on-board staterooms, outfitted with queen beds, private en-suite heads with shower, and air conditioning. Captain and Chef quarters are in separate areas of the vessel.

These luxurious vessels are equipped with all amenities for maximum comfort including an expansive main saloon, bimini-sheltered aft deck, and forward deck trampolines. On-board generators provide full air-conditioned comfort day and night while at anchor. Additional entertainment amenities include sport dinghies, sea kayaks, snorkel gear and assorted water toys.

Your on-board Chef will provide you with the finest locally and internationally inspired foods including breakfast, lunch, dinner and hors d'oeuvres. An open bar is available throughout your trip. You may also opt to dine ashore at restaurants that range from sophisticated to flip-flop casual.

Your Vessel, Your Itinerary

While you have the option of cruising and rendezvousing with the Pinnacle flotilla, you may elect to sail with the fleet or cast-off on your own for a day or two of unregimented sailing and sun.

The Caribbean islands offer fantastic sailing conditions and many interesting destinations. The specific cruising itinerary depends on wind conditions, but will typically include calls at destinations for which the islands are justifiably famous:

Norman Island to snorkel through its remarkable sea-caves and take in the nightlife at “the Bight” and the Willy T.

Salt Island to explore the underwater nature park where you can snorkel the famous 100-year-old wreck of the royal mail ship Rhone.

Marina Cay with its pristine beauty, coral reef beach, sea-side veranda restaurants and Pusser’s Caribbean merchant outpost.

Virgin Gorda to drop by the famous Bitter End Resort or visit the haunting beauty of Fallen Jerusalem underwater park and The Baths’ trail of water’s edge caves leading to its spectacular, isolated beach.

Trellis Bay where you can swim ashore and wander its sweep of shell-strewn beach, or browse through the local water-front craft markets and cafes.

Amidst these highlights you may choose to stop en-route at a collection of the islands lesser-known but equally unique bays, coves, inlets and anchorages to snorkel, hike, kayak, sample the local beachfront bars and restaurants, or just read and relax in the sun.

Bring Old Friends or Meet New Friends

Catamaran Flotillas take place in the off-season, generally in late January or early February. Members can charter all the staterooms aboard a vessel, for a friends and family reunion, or a single stateroom and make new friends with the other Pinnacle couples aboard.

Either way the chemistry is great and the friendships long-lasting, with many of our members returning and regrouping for each year's flotilla. A delightful week in the off-season to be recalled fondly throughout the year.
