Imagine your group cruising across the water at twilight on several magnificent new Jeanneau 37 to 45 foot sail- and power yachts that then rendezvous for a private, multi-yacht, on-the-water party to view the spectacular fireworks off Chicago's Navy Pier! A wonderful new way to celebrate has arrived - Pinnacle’s Fireworks Flotilla.

A Magnificent Fleet of Yachts

The Pinnacle Fleet shines as the newest and largest in the continental United States for use in programs of this kind. Select from the fleet of late-model sailing yachts (37 - 45 foot yachts crafted by Jeanneau, the acclaimed international yacht builder) or power yachts (34-38 foot yachts crafted by SeaRay).

Each yacht is equipped and finished to the highest standards, with sleek hulls and topsides, and richly appointed interiors below. All vessels carry advanced rigging full instrumentation and safety gear that exceeds USCG requirements. They are performance-cruising yachts, certain to provide an unmatched, luxurious evening for you and your guests.

A Wonderful Evening of Sailing and Celebrating

7:00 PM: Board Yachts in Monroe Harbor
Groups meet at Monroe Harbor and take tenders to their yachts. Onboard they meet their USCG licensed Captain. Safety procedures are discussed. Group photos are taken of the group on their yacht.

7:00 – About 9:00 PM: Sailing Till Twilight
Yachts depart Monroe Harbor a enjoy sailing Chicago’s magnificent lakefront as the sun sets and the lights of the city emerge. Sailors can take the helm and trim the sails if they wish with the assistance of the Captain, or just sit back and enjoy.

9:00 – 10:30 PM: Raft-Up and Fireworks Party
Yachts converge to the rendezvous point in the Olive Park anchorage. The Captains secure the yachts together to form one floating party platform. Music, eating and drinking begins as arranged. The Chicago skyline is dazzling. Photos are taken of the group and of the fantastic setting. Fireworks off Navy Pier fill the sky – the climax of a perfect evening!

10:30 – 11:00 PM: Return to Monroe Harbor
Yachts return under power to Monroe Harbor and passengers tender ashore. A wonderful and memorable evening concludes.

A Great Value

Pricing for this event starts at $195 per person, plus 8% city tax. This price includes use of new, well equipped Jeanneau or SeaRay yacht, insurance, licensed USCG Captain fees, tender passes, fuel and photography. Catering charges and entertainment (if any) are in addition and depend on the size of the group and the menu selected. Captains do not serve food or drink. The flotilla program requires at least five people per yacht, and not less than two yachts. Maximum flotilla capacity is six people per yacht (in addition to the Captain). Up to fourteen yachts can be provided (more if needed). Fireworks are displayed from Navy Pier on Wednesday evenings; therefore the program is offered only on Wednesday evenings only. Availability is very limited and reservations are required well in advance.
